Energy Scouts OWL 2016
In the "Energy-Scouts OWL" project, apprentices get fit in the fields of energy and resource efficiency. As energy scouts, they uncover weaknesses in their companies, develop solutions and collect valuable project experience in the team. They make an active contribution to climate protection, raise awareness among their colleagues and save money.
The special award for creativity was given to our apprentices Sascha Schulz and Shirley Stamm.
They questioned a test procedure in which the most expensive chemical in a test kit was never used up.
In order to achieve maximum resource utilization in the Jokisch quality assurance laboratory, a raw material was replaced in an existing chloride determination test and replaced by a self made mixture of this chemical. This optimization has a far-reaching positive effect in many areas. The use of resources has been optimized, less hazardous material has to be disposed, space and cost savings have been achieved.
